The chemical composition of Titanium Grade 1 Pipes and Tubes is primarily composed of Titanium. They are the strongest and the most malleable of all Titanium alloys, with a composition of around 99.5% Titanium. The remaining 0.5% consists mainly of Iron, Carbon, and Oxygen. These trace elements help improve the strength and flexibility of the pipes and tubes.
Titanium Grade 1 Tube Physical & Mechanical Properties:
Titanium Grade 1 pipe and tubes have excellent physical and mechanical properties. They offer an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, high tensile strength of up to 240 MPa, and a high yield strength of up to 170 MPa. Furthermore, Titanium Grade 1 tubes display excellent low-temperature toughness, making them suitable for cryogenic applications. They can also withstand high temperatures of up to 390oC.
