SMO 254 Tubes Corrosion Resistance
The SMO 254 Tubes are known for their excellent corrosion resistance, specifically in seawater applications. These tubes can resist pitting and crevice corrosion due to the high levels of molybdenum, chromium, and nitrogen. F44 Pipes Chemical Composition
The SMO 254 F44 Pipes are composed of ferritic and austenitic phases. They contain 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum, 7% nickel, nitrogen, and other trace elements. These chemical compositions provide high strength, great resistance to corrosion, and excellent physical properties across a vast temperature range.
Smo 254 Tubes Physical & Mechanical Properties
In terms of mechanical properties, Smo 254 Tubes are exceptionally strong, yet they remain pliable and easy to form. They can resist stress corrosion cracking and have a high fatigue strength. In terms of physical properties, these tubes have a density of 8.0 g/cm3, a melting point of 1320-1390℃, and a thermal conductivity of 13.7 W/m-K.
