The low carbon content of SS 316L Flats offers better corrosion resistance than SS 316. These flats also display excellent resistance to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
Stainless Steel 316 Angles Chemical Composition
The chemical composition of Stainless Steel 316 Angles includes approximately 2-3% Molybdenum, which improves the pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. Additionally, they contain 16-18% Chromium, 10-14% Nickel, and 2-3% Molybdenum. These elements provide high corrosion resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and weldability.
